Teen Volunteers
Year-Round Volunteers | VolunTeens
Our teen volunteers are smart, creative, and kind. By expanding the program to being open year-round, we now have dozens of teens to assist with library events, organization, and preparation in each season.

Local Interests + Unique Events
Bringing the Farm to the Library
Library patrons were able to witness the wonders of life through our Hatch-A-Chick program in the summer of 2023. We successfully hatched and housed five baby chicks, giving all ages a chance to engage with the Library in a new and unique way while learning about life cycles and animal needs and behaviors. Special events planned around the hatching were a chicken escape room, small-group instruction regarding chicken care, and a naming contest.
